Lotus Provincetown is at the heart of Provincetown. Located in the center of busy Commercial Street, trendy restaurants, eloquent galleries, feverish shows, eccentric shops, pier promenade, a sunset beach, and a lively nightlife are all at its front steps.
The inn first opened in the 1980s by the Lovingers, who lovingly restored the Queen Anne building originally known as the Cutler Pharmacy when it was built around 1900. The building underwent a full renovation in 2008, and its current owner has further modernized the property with remote locks for contactless checkins, streaming TVs, and all white, luxurious down bedding. The property has a charming, private garden hidden from busy Commercial Street, housing a cedar tub, dry sauna, and outdoor shower (beginning June 2023).
"Somewhere between a movie set and reality, the Lotus is nestled off commercial street in a town where American nostalgia meets the “new normal”. -Aaron
"Friendly & attentive staff and clean comfortable rooms. The backyard is a beautiful sanctuary from the busyness of the town. The house is right in the center of town with everything within walking distance; including the main pier". -Laurel
"Right on commercial Street so there are great shops and restaurants right outside. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to stay in Provincetown and be right in the middle of everything". -Chris
